Visually pleasing design can be crucial to conveying a message. I love discovering ways to tell a visual story that feels effortless and beautiful to its audience. Design frames how information is perceived and can make all the difference. For Frankie Production, the brand image calls for more modern, streamlined visuals with pops of color and warm imagery.

Trader Joe's

SIGN ARTIST

Each of the signs pictured were original designs of mine that were drawn and colored by hand.

Trader Joe's afforded me a great deal of creative freedom when creating signage for their store. They had a short list of parameters that needed to be met (Product Name, price, and weight must be featured) and the rest was entirely up to the artist! It was a lot of fun dreaming up new signs for each product on various mediums. (Cardboard, chalkboard, foamboard, paper)

It was a fantastic way of learning to trust my artistic instincts and exercise my imagination.
